I'm going to try to avoid it this year, but we'll see if that happens. It sucks up soooooooooo much time.

I know!!!! We went on vacation last summer and I went out and specifically bought a little tv so I wouldn't miss it. Then, three times that week, I excused myself from the group of people we were with so I could go to my tent and get my fix of BB!!

This is why I'm SO glad we have a DVR this year. I love that its on 3 times a week, but hate it too because of how much time it takes up. Now I won't have to be as crazy and obsessive over being home in time!

Hooray! tvguide.com had a section about BB and has pics of the newly decorated house. Looks like an Alice in Wonderland theme for this year. I am sooooo excited

I found this on youtube. Julie Chen talks about a new twist this year and introduces the new house guests.

Counting down the days - I'm in Arizona and the only good thing about summer (in my opinion) is it's time for Big Brother again!!

Oooo-looks like it's going to be interesting!!! It will be neat to see the 3 "enemies" and how that plays out. Dustin and Joe will definitely keep it interesting if they stay on for a while together.

For a second with the teaser thing they had, I thought America's player was going to be Will!! I think that is a neat twist, too.

Oh, I would've loved that!

It looks interesting this season, with the enemies and America's Player. I wonder how long he will stay in the game.

I was bummed at the winner of HoH, that was the first person I wanted to see evicted.

The first HOH usually becomes a big target pretty quickly & they don't last long.

I'm not sure what to think of Joe. If Dustin had cheated on him & gave him the STD what Joe did in return was pretty harsh & to air it out on national tv so quickly before knowing whether or not it was his enemy. I wonder how long it has been since they broke up.

Does anyone know how they find these ex's/enemies? It seems like a big coincidence that they'd both put applications in & the show would find out that they have a past.

I think the father-daughter are acting.

They are more like characters playing a part, and they are from LA I beleive. She looks like a model/actress type and he looks like an entertainer as well.

And he kind of over-did it last night...I mean on public TV talking about how much he couldn't stand his daughter. She is still very young...I mean what could she have done to make him that mad and say such mean things? Not talk to him? A bit too unrealistic.

Me too!

I like the America's Choice player.

Anyone run out and subscribe to Showtime? :

I liked Joe until he blurted out about the STD...wtf? That is TMI for me thankyouverymuch. And Dustin said it was negative so what's up with that?

I was watching BB during labor for my first too.

Can someone recap? I caught the ending with a blond girl in the bathroom crying. I gather her father is in the house and they don't get along. What was their reaction when they saw eachother? Did they go into the house last night or what? They have a lot of video clips of them interacting that looked pre recorded, not like they just got there. I'm so confused : .

The 3 enemies were kept upstairs away from everyone else. Dustin, the dad and the valley girl mad over $5 (puh-lease can she be next to go after the annoying homophobe who is HOH?) were all upstairs watching the others. When Julie announced that there was a twist and explained that it could be enemies or long lost people, etc the houseguests chatted a little about who they thought it would be (thats when Joe blurted out about the STD from Dustin) and then Julie sent them down one by one.

The father came down and immediately said that he was the father of the blond (who looks identical to Anna Nicole Smith). She just sort of stared at him in disbelief and looked away...I wonder what happened to make them not talk.

Dustin came down and shook hands with everyone except Joe who refused his handshake.

Oh and they all went into the house a few days ago...that's how they have the clips, those have all been happening since they went in...last night's show was not live.

He looks like he's trying to be Tommy Lee.lol

At the very end Danielle(the dd) was telling the other girls that they didn't get along. They didn't speak for 5 years I believe, then they did but were more friends. he was a "mean friend" & then she stopped speaking to him for the last 2 years.

If last night's show was live, how did they go into the house a few days ago? All 14 of them went into the house on the same day. The first 3 went in first, but it was the same day as the other 11.

Don't they usually show it 3x a week in the beginning and then go down to 2x? I noticed that they are just doing it Thursday and Sundays so far.

Oh and we tivo the showtime live feed and WOW that America's Choice player is quite annoying! I don't know what to think about him.
