the whole 'extraordinary' not being about surgery, but everything else
Here's my problem with this though, and understand first, I LOVE
Grey's Anatomy. I can get on board with just about anything they throw at me. But this one stuck in my craw because when Ellis woke up from her coma and Meredith said she was in love with Derek, Ellis was all over her about being ordinary because she was in love instead of focused on surgery. Now it's supposed to be that she's supposed to be in love instead of focused on surgery? That just doesn't jive for me and I'm finding it really irritating.

Lexi and George? meh. I can take or leave it. Callie and Hahn doesn't work for me. They have no chemistry. Hahn has more chemistry with Christina.

I'm really suprised to see so many people support the Lexi-George thing. I saw that coming from miles away and I thought the writers could come up with some other story line than "I'm in love with my roommate" because it's already been used over and over (and over) on this show. I'm yawning already thinking about it.

Is it just me or did anyone else get a bad foreboding about Derrick when he left and told her to "Stay right here" while he goes to dump Rose? Something is going to happen - for whatever reason he's not going to get back or something else not-so-tidy because that's how her life works.

I liked Callie w/McSteamy better. They are hot together.
Lexi and George are sweet together. I kind of like it. And I really like Alex and Izzie together.

Dh & I said the same thing. We were like "Uh oh, here comes the car accident or something". Or Rose is pregnant..

ITA. And finding out that your mom didn't mean to kill herself and she didn't really mean to make you feel like dogpoop doesn't make it all better. Well, on a sitcom it does I guess

And she's mad at the chief?? Come ON.....own your own problems.

I just posted on that and I guess we'll just have to take it Overused story line as it is -- and how many girls has George been in love with thus far?? I know he's not in love with Lexi (yet ) but I think by the end of the show he'll have slept with half the cast.

ITA with Hahn and Christina. I've often thought it myself!

You know, that's right. They did make a big deal of telling us. But, they never showed the actual love scene between them (at least I don't think they did). hmmmmmm.....

I've given it thought and I don't want Rose to be pregnant. :

They won't make Rose pregnant hot on the heels of Ava being "pregnant" will they?

I wouldn't miss her character much either, but I have to say I kind of agree with her decision to pull her name from Emmy consideration. She really hasn't been given good material. The writers have made her character do things over the last two seasons that were really out of character. That's why viewers don't like Izzie any more. They made her weird.

yeah, no problem with her leaving either. except that she would make more stupid movies. i just saw "27 dresses" and i was pretty unimpressed. "knocked up" was ok...but not great.

I agree that she hasn't been given much to work with, this season.
I'd really miss her character overall, though.
I hope Izzie stays!

I agree with her too. After that sweet/sad story with Denny, especially her grief. What is that called, "jump the shark"?

Nah, you're not the only one who would miss her. Her character was boring last season, but I still really like her. Especially now that she's going to be in charge of Denny's Clinic!

I agree. I really liked her character much more in the past. She's just lost, she's in a pretty serious contract with them, so unless they let her go (which some are speculating that my her pulling her name out, will make them angry, and let her go) she'll be around for a long time.

I think she'll start to get back to "normal" now that she's in charge of the clinic. One can hope, anyways!
