Maybe if they ate a lot of it, but I thought she only had one or two.

An excerpt from the article:

Quote:
Ware's cannabis patients don't get the munchies if they're appropriately dosed, nor do they get "stoned." The sick respond differently to drugs than do the healthy, he explains. "These are extremely ill people who have failed conventional treatments.
http://www.macleans.ca/article.jsp?c...83&source=srch

Another article I read says that marijuana brings sick people up to a normal llevel; whereas healthy people get high.

The way Carlos was so pensive at the end talking to Gabby's dh.. made me wonder if he is considering having him killed as well!

My thought is that perhaps is Carlos is not paying to have Edie killed, but something else entirely, and they are just making it look like he is paying to have her killed.

I took it to mean that he was thinking that HE (Carlos) might be in danger. Victor said he would kill, right? And Carlos is doing the very thing that Victor would kill for.

Oh right.. cuz if he was planning to have her killed, his office door would have said "hitman".

And I didn't even think that maybe it was Carlos in danger now!!!

I keep thinking it involves either giving Edie money or giving someone else money so they can look rich while they woo her. Carlos isn't going to have her killed, it wouldn't make sense.

I'm not sure if Victor was actually threatening Carlos, or just making it known what kind of guy he is. I keep expecting Gabi to go do something really embarrassing so he'll dump her.

You should change your name to Mrs McSnarksky

Anyway, I think the guy really is an accountant, that's what I'm saying. It seems like a rather elaborate cover up for a hitman. He might be a money launderer and Carlos is looking to transfer the money to another account without leaving a paper trail.

Okay, the CPA said something to his secretary about copying "the Britt file". My guess is that Carlos is going to transfer some money into Edie's name without her knowing, setting it up to look fishy, and then he'll be able to use the same IRS threat on her. To him it's only money, and I think it would be worth it to him to give her some to get her off his back.

You could definitely be right. I wouldn't actually think Carlos would have her killed and since they are making it *seem* like he is going to have her killed... you're probably right... they could have a surprise up their sleeves.

I am not going to be happy though if Carlos winds up getting killed!!!! : I am actually liking him and Gabby lately!!

It made me laugh because she so obviously wasn't doing anything even remotely like breastfeeding and Dana Delany's character is such a bitch.

I'm becoming irritated with Gabi being so childish all the time, though. The best response she could come up with was to repeat something Bree told her in confidence? Yeesh.

I know her character is a little selfish and shallow, but they are writing in fewer and fewer redeeming moments for her.

I was annoyed by it too. I hate when writers turn breastfeeding into the butt of a joke or sexualize it.

I've really lost interest in this show. I watch about 10 minutes and then start looking for something else to watch or turn off the tv.
