Normally I am not the type to see goofy things like this, but please tell me I'm not the only one who went WHOA when they saw this commercial? :

I had to watch this twice. The first time I was just like, "huh?" But the second time I said, Ohhhhh. Ok, Elmo. Whatcha doin' over there?

The first time I saw this was on TV and I thought for SURE it was a spoof. Had to be. It just seemed too...obvious to me. How did they not see this when they put it together. Obviously I'm not alone in noticing this either.

ok, i just showed it to dh, who said "elmo must be pretty damn big if he's doing THAT" : and "no wonder it looks like his parents have 3 legs" (in the picture that's shown in "elmo's world" :

Or maybe they're evil geniuses and thought they'd make a questionable commercial to get people talking about it?

no, even when you can see the whole thing it's still suggestive. that's an awful toy. i hope my kids don't get that from anyone during the holidays.

When I see it un-pixelated it doesn't phase me because it becomes obvious he's slapping his leg as he's laughing. I think it's the whole pixel thing that throws me in the new commercial.
