I love watching shows on DVD. I have seen all of Grey's Anatomy (that is on DVD...waiting for this past season) and Ugly Betty (that is on DVD...waiting for this past season).

Now in the middle of 24 and Lost. What other series do you all think I might like. I get Netflix, but have to share the queue with DH. I like to stock up on free dvds from the library so I need a new series to start.

Please suggest. Thanks a bunch!

Friday Night Lights is awesome. Available on Hulu.com, you don't even need the DVDs!

Alias! Be sure to start with season 1 because it was definitely the best.

Battlestar Galactica! I'm not even a big sci fi fan but this series is just amazing! The sci fi part is fine but, it's a great story about faith, relationships, love etc... I can't say enough good things about it.

I love The West Wing. I own all the seasons I love it so much. I am in the middle of season 2 now, again.

Do you watch House? The Tudors (Showtime) and Big Love are really great shows too.

What about Gilmore Girls? I loved that show.
Joan of Arcadia
Veronica Mars
Heroes

My all time favorite show ever is Buffy the Vampire Slayer. On of the writers from it did a lot on Lost.

DH and I are really enjoying Boston Legal. Totally thought it wouldn't be my thing, but it's very smart and funny. And I get to rekindle my 80s infatuation w/James Spader.

The Office (American version, can't stand the British version). BEST. SHOW. EVER. I have all 3 seasons (so far) and watch them almost every single day.

Sgt. Renninger, Ofc. Owens, Ofc. Griswold, Ofc. Richards, Deputy Mundell
Gone but not fogotten.

We liked a show called Wonderfalls, though it wasn't on long so not much to watch. Also the British series Coupling. Currently enjoying "How I met your mother" I can't watch the serious drama ones right now but people I know rave about six feet under.

We are watching Six Feet Under and LOVING it! We are also watching and loving Weeds--seasons one and two are available through instant download thru Netflix. We watch it in bed on the laptop.

One of my favorite series of all time is Slings and Arrows, a Canadian show about a regional theatre/Shakespeare festival. Wonderfully written and acted!
