LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- If you're expecting a child, could the secret to a stress-free birth all be in your mind? Supporters of pre-natal hypnotherapy, or "hypno-birthing," courses say it can take a lot of the anxiety out of childbirth.
It sounds like the British government is going to study it to see how well it works. Has anyone here done it? What do you think, whether you've done it, or researched it but chosen not to, or even if you just heard about it?
I read the book hypnobirthing and honestly was less anxious about labor than I am for the dentist...and I loathe the dentist and am a super uber anxious person. I found the book gave me strategies and a mindfullness that helped me throughtout the entire birthing process. I highly recommend exploring it.
