4 years, 9 months. I would have tandemed, but the older two stopped when the next one was born. DD nursed the last time a week before DS was born. DS nursed the last time a week AFTER DD2 was born. He only wanted to every other day or so at that point. He hadn't gotten used to not getting much and didn't appreciate it when the milk came back. He had forgotten about that. He still pulls at my shirt and mentions it now and then, but he never wants to. He's 2.5.

It will be 7 years straight at the very beginning of Jan. I'll have at least another couple of years since DS is still a baby.

4 years 4 months on the 31st. Before my m/c earlier this year my husband calculated that by the time that babe would have stopped nursing I would have nursed for 10 years. Hoping, we get to put his theory to the test in the future.

Well, my last child just weaned (CLW) and she is 1m shy of her 4th birthday. I had been nursing 11yrs and 1m straight! Wohoo, the 'girls' are tired but I am so happy to have done this for my children. I thought I would be devastated when I was done but it happened so gradually that it is OK. hmm, now I feel a little sad.

momma to 4!

You are all such an inspiration! I've only been nursing for a year, but it is so important to my daughter that I suspect we will be at it for a long, long time. You all have such lucky babies!
