Wanted to give a quick update for those wondering. After laboring (easily I may add) for 12 hours, contractions were about 2-3 minutes apart and I had my husband check me and he found a prolapsed cord in the bulging sac of waters. So off we went to the hospital and baby was delivered by emergency c-section. Everyone is calling him a miracle baby. Will update more later, we just got home and are resting.

I'm impressed with your ability to handle that stressful situation, it sounds like you were prepared and knew exactly what to do if a situation like that arose.

I agree, you handled that wonderfully. Are you doing ok emotionally? I know how hard it can be to have a birth go completely differently than planned. *hugs*
