Even if you DO have stds, the studies show the drops are ineffective. Most of them show no difference between babies with chlamydial conjunctivitis that receive the drops vs those who don't. There are also studies that suggest the baby is exposed to it after birth, not from the birth canal.
Ok, so I read a few posts and articles that said the eye drops are not neccesary and I understand that but for some reason I keep thinking about it! (me over thinking again) I do not have any std's but i think the thing is I have had it done at the hospital with my other babies that I think I should just do the same thing with this one as far as the procedures after birth. Am I weird or what? Ha ha!

Never have done the eye drops w/ the last 8 born at home.
