I originally bought Evening primrose oil with the idea of starting it at 36 weeks, but almost 37 now and dont know whether to do it or not. (as in one capsule vaginally every night before bed).  Anybody have any experience using it? Would you recommend it or not?

I chose not to as I heard it can possibly cause infection. I took it orally from 39-41 weeks. Don't know if it helped.

I have no plans to do EPO or 5w or any of that stuff.  There are lots of varying opinions on how to use EPO - you should probably ask your midwife about it.

I take it both orally and vaginally. I did so with #4 but not #5 and had a slightly easier, perhaps coincidentally, labour when taking it.
