After our daughter was born the other night we left the placenta sitting out quite a few hours. I went ahead and put it in the fridge, it's been in there for about 36 hours. Is It still
safe to consume in smoothies if I cut up and freeze the rest?

Smell it! It's a big hunk of meat, basically...Does it still smell like fresh meat? or is it getting funky...? Only you can decide. I'd guess it's most likely still safe, but you'll want to get it processed asap before it crosses to the "other side" ;-)

ETA...Oh and congrats on your sweet new addition love.gif
