Hi ladies,

I'm new (today), I found this forum while looking for support for unassisted pregnancies. My husband and I had planned to have an unassisted pregnancy with this baby (our second child). Last Friday, I went to the ER because I had a lot of bleeding and found out that I have a Subchorionic Hemorrhage Placenta and a Threaten Miscarriage. Well, this really left me feeling a little defeated in my hopes of having a unassisted pregnancy. I'm asking for advice from women who have had unassisted pregnancies and have gone through this as well. I want to make a healthy choice for my baby and for myself. I thank you ladies in advance.

Welcome Londymommy!! I don't have any experience or anecdotes to share. Hopefully someone else will. I would just say, stay in tune w/your body and your baby and take each day as it comes, doing what you need to do stay healthy and keep that little one in there as long as possible. Many blessings for a healthy pregnancy, to you!

ETA: I just did a quick search and it sounds like this type of bleeding is pretty common, usually resolves itself and more than half the women who get Dx'd go on to have a normal healthy pregnancy. So that sounds reassuring thumb.gif

Thank you so much for replying and for the encouraging words. My husband and I had a talk about it and we are still going to seriously consider continuing with the unassisted pregnancy.
