I have a friend/co-worker who is wanting to birth alone (with her partner) and she came to me for advice since I'm a doula/student midwife. However, I don't have any cheat sheets or PDFs to give her.

I had some on hand a few years back when another friend had a UC, but have since lost them!

Can someone email some to me, please?

She could get a copy of Heart & Hands. It's usually only about $23 on amazon and it's a great midwifery text.

This is good (especially page 1!):

I love that page 6 says "There is no hurry to cut the cord."

Also! My husband truly appreciated this book though we hope to not have to use it!

A great book to have on hand as it is easily referenced. Although I do know that advice about folding baby in half to resuscitate is outdated and not to be done any longer!

I also highly recommend Heart and Hands! :)
