I'm a grand-multipara beginning to prepare for the birth of my 6th child, 3rd UC. I've attended 2 years worth of births as a homebirth assistant/apprentice, so I have some ideas on how I can maximize my chances for an efficient labor (us "old", veteran birthers tend to "putter".... ;)), but I want to be sure I'm not missing anything.
Things I am/will be doing:
Webster technique via chiro
Cutting out anything w/ calcium (mag supps) just prior
Red raspberry leaf tea
Any other suggestions I've forgotten?
Midwife apprentice and mama to 6, including three UC babies: Jude River, 06/04/08, Elora Wren Isolde, 9/27/10, and our newest addition, Eilish Neve Isebeul, 6/12/14!
I used Clary Sage essential oil on my feet when my labor was well established. DD was out within 20 minutes of application.
