Amanda: I'm so sorry to hear of your loss! I felt much the same before my last loss, at almost the same stage, and I can't say it made a difference one way or the other in my sadness. Wishing you peace!

Thank you for the kind thoughts everyone. Your support really does mean a lot to me.

I'm actually at peace with this. I'm deeply sorrowful but at the same time I have a weird feeling of relief. The day I found out I was pregnant was the day I started worrying about losing it, so that the last few days before I bled it was all I could even think about. It just wasn't right, for whatever reason.

Anyway, please carry on with the happy pregnancy talk.

Good morning ladies! Thinking of you all. :-)

I spent a large chunk of time last night writing "birth plans." I don't know why I feel compelled to do that this time, I never have before. One if for in the event I call our on-call midwife, discussing what I want, don't want, and my ideal birth, and the other is in the event of a hospital transport. I hope this process of evaluating what matters to me will bring me a little peace. I am struggling with this process this time. It is very odd, and I think I need to spend a little time focusing on why my mind is in the place right now.

Blah, blah, blah.

Should we start an October UC Support thread?

I'm new to MDC, came here after getting increasingly disgusted with another board (more or less pro-medical mainstream)

I'm 35 weeks this week, UP'd thus far, if checking my BP once in a while counts, lol. We're in FL, if it matters.
I can't be certain if we'll have a UC like I'm hoping for, my husband's nowhere near onboard with the idea....Men can be so squeamish, can't they? Lol.

Just thought I'd pop in and say hello

Hello and welcome Lizzie!

Certainly sounds UP to me. FL is lovely, isn't it? Well, actually, I haven't been there for over 14 years now, but I remember it being lovely, anyway.

There are lots of helpful ladies here and some great information just waiting to be looked up and read! Hope you enjoy our MDC UC forum as much as I do!
