No long explanations...just taken a couple weeks to reflect and emerse myself in reading and working it out. Since I decided to go the c/s route again I have felt incredibly depressed. I think a normal birth is as much a birthright as breastmilk...and as hard as I tried I CANNOT justify surgery. Listening to OB's got me here & it dawned on me "apparently I have learned NOTHING as I'm still doing it." There's no reason for any of this drama, there's nothing wrong with me. Come what may I'm giving her the birth we both deserve. Hospitals will be there if I need them. But I won't. So, I'll be around again...just wanted to post this in case anyone wondered why I was posting on the UC forum again. Feeling good again. Funny...doing nothing was all it took, LOL!

That's all.

Good to see you again!

I don't know about you but I'm going crazy getting ready for this baby! I'll be 34 weeks on Wednesday and am so aware of how soon she/he will be with us.

Your stuff is waiting on you and will head your direction as soon as I hear of that perfect homebirth I know is coming I figure if it's here then murphy's law can't work against you.

It's good to see you! I can't even imagine the emotional roller coaster you're on. But we're all cheering for you! Can't wait to hear about your baby's wonderful, calm, uneventful birth.

You have no idea...but I feel good now, like I did before. Someone said this AM in th BFing forum somewhere that if you don't feel right about the choice you made it's probably wrong. Smacked myself in the head...well, not really, but I imagined I did.

I know it was. But I figure it's part of a big picture. I was always superstitious about that stuff. So I'll keep it here safe for you out of your house. Then you can have a perfect homebirth and I'll send it to you. Then if you want you can send it back and we can both have pics of babes in it

LOL I had a feeling I'd see you back here.

I had told DH about you when we were first discussing VBACS and UC, and we were following your decision making process. When I told him you opted to go for another c/s he said "No she won't. She'll be back."

Can't wait till he gets home so I can tell him he was right As he usually is about stuff like this (Yeah, I should have told you that a long time ago it would have saved you a lot of grief, right? Hehe).

Welcome back! =D

LOL, that's funny! Who knew, your DH had all the answers!

What's even funnier is MY DH said all along, when I INSISTED I was having another section...."No, you won't you're too d@m# stubborn!"

That's what I've found of difficult decisions - it doesn't sit right, makes me cry and when I finally come around to the right decision it's such a good, right feeling!

Glad to see you doing the "right" thing for you!

Thanks guys!

I actually had pretty intense contrax. last night, I was up alllllllll night, but slept until 1PM! I am thinking I was dehydrated. But it was cool in a weird way, I was enjoying experiencing not exploding. Everyone should experience not exploding, it's rather cool. But it was pretty painful for a while, just proved I can handle it and survive. But I'd rather the next time be significantly past 34 weeks!

Thanks for the support!

Marie, I'm glad to see that you're happy, healthy and content with your decisions. No matter what you chose I'd support your decision, but I'm so happy that you settled on a decision that makes YOU feel confident.

For you, I wish 4-8 weeks of blissful BH contractions, healthy eating and peaceful gestation. Followed by a super-duper-quick-n-easy birth.
