I get these hard tiny bumps on my fingers every once in a while. I remember getting them when I was pregnant and going to see a dermatologist, who just said it was "something something something" and not to worry about it.
Anyway, they hurt if pressed on but otherwise they don't. After a while they kind of flatten a little bit and then eventually go away.
I don't get them all the time, but I had them around Christmas and now again. Could it be a reaction to something I'm eating? Anyone else get this?

I get those, but my doc said it was just a dormant virus in the nerve endings, and that really there is no way to control them outside of reducing stress. I guess if you're allergies are stressing your immune system that could make them flare.

I get these, and have also been told that they're a dormant virus. They crop up whenever I'm under stress and my immune function dips. I used to call them my "travel bumps" because I'd always get them on vacation, lol.
Now I think of them as an early warning signal that I need to pay more attention to self care. They're my reminder to eat some fresh produce, do some yoga, tell annoying people to scat, etc.
