Got all excited about making yogurt, got out my pot, my heating pad, my goat milk, borrowed a thermometer, then discovered my goat milk is ultra-pasteurized and won't make yogurt! And after calling around, I learned NV just passed a law that they can only sell ultra-pastuerized milk!
I can drive into CA to get some regular pasteurized, but in the meantime wondering if it is at all possible to take store bought goat milk yogurt and ferment it further to make it SCD legal? DD has been eating the store bought yogurt and LOVES it but is becoming sensitive to it (mucus in poo), it must be the lactose still in it?
