DD is almost seven months. We are planning on starting her on solids. While I was reading through this forum to see what advise have been given on starting solids, I noticed that water kefir was mentioned by a few as something to start a baby on.
I just started to make water kefir for myself last week and I put raison or figs, and lemon or lime in it. I also use a combination of raw cane sugar, molasses, and brown sugar. Given that there are so many ingredients in it, don't I need to worry about some sort of allergic reaction? Are there better and simpler recipes? And how much do I start her on? a tsp?
