We had DS tested--it was the US biotek test. He tested positive for egg, grapes, all gluten grains (barley, wheat, rye, spelt), soy beans and possibly: almonds, bell peppers.
He is currently off all dairy and corn, and was when the test was done. These would definitely not show up then in the test, right?
Do IgE allergies also throw an IgG positive? He has not had IgE testing.
In your experience, are all positives through IgG testing true? So...for example, if we find that after an elimination and challenge he is not reaction to soy, or only at a certain threshold, is it 'safe' to give him soy, or does it need to be avoided anyway from an immune perspective?
Thank you for your patience with all my questions. Definitely overwhelmed over here...
