I have a 6wk old exclusive BF who seems to have a dairy (at least milk & cheese) intolerance.  She gets very fussy/gassy after most feedings....dr. suggested I remove dairy from my diet which has helped.  But for three weeks now she has been getting red bumps on her face and head.  They are there one day then gone and back again randomly.  At what age do you test or just trial and error to determine possible sources??

Also I had to be put on an antibiotic and want to avoid her (and me) from getting thrush.  What can be used?   I have always added yogurt but I don't think that is going to work well for baby.   Ideas?

Get a good dairy free probiotic. Give it between antibiotics (like if you take them 3x day, do the pro between doses so they aren't killed off totally).

The rash could be a number of things. If it's only face and head I would question something environmental.
