DS has had a bad diaper rash for about a week maybe a little longer. It looks like little sores around his anus and it seems to sometimes bother him if he is in a dirty diaper. I have tried diaper rash cream, almond oil w/ grapefruit seed extract, coloidal silver, and I just tried coconut oil tonight so I am hoping that will help but idk. I have been racking my brain to think of anything in my or his diet changing but the only thing that is slightly different is he is drinking goats milk during the day, but that started a couple of weeks ago wouldn't an allergy show up before then? I will probably take him to the doctor if it doesn't get better over the weekend, or does it sound like something he should be seen for right away? I haven't taken him yet because it doesn't seem to bother him consistently.

Another thing that has recently started is his dirty diapers changed very drastically, around the same time as the rash showed up ( maybe a bit before). His diapers look almost undigested but he still has like 2 or 3 bms a day and he doesn't seem bothered by it. My mw said it was normal, but the only reason it concerned me is that he didn't have any new foods. It was all foods  he had previously eaten and passed with zero problems. This makes me wonder if they are connected. Any way if anyone has any advice I would be very grateful.

That area can get staph infections. I mention because of the sores. Keep an eye on it.

I would not jump to worrying about food changes. If there are bowel changes it could be a temporary stomach thing or similar.

Thanks I will!

The cocnut oil seems to at least be keeping it from getting worse... I try to change his diaper immediately after a bm cause that seems to irritate it...
