There are two primary methods of testing for food allergy. Skin tests and blood tests. The blood test has shown to correlate better with patient symptoms.
There are two main antibodies that we test for. IgE (immediate response allergies) and IgG (delayed allergies). The first is not affected by your recent die. For the second, don't load up on suspected foods for several days prior to testing.
