DS is 16 months and suffers from seasonal allergies. Whenever it's windy (which is often) his nose runs, his eyes itch and he just looks so uncomfortable.

I don't want to give him any OTC medications and I do want him to build an immunity for the long haul. Has anyone given their child local honey to combat seasonal allergies? How long did it take to work and is it still working?

Also, should I wait a little longer before giving him honey? I've read the wait period is 12 months and older but I want to extra careful.

Thanks ladies!

I have heard of this. Truthfully I would check with a homeopathic Dr in your area to get some information.

My friend told me about this as I was sniffling at her house. (I just moved) And it does semm to help - but I keep forgetting to eat more of it. Any more info would be great!
