I took my son who is 2.5 to the dentist today because I thought he broke a little piece off one of his teeth. He was eating and he told me his tooth broke and it hurt. When the dentist looked, she said it wasn't broken, but there was another place in his mouth where a tooth was coming in that look pussy and a little infected. She called it an eruption cyst. She prescribed antibiotics (Amoxicillin 125mg, 105ml one tsp every 8 hrs for 5 days.)

My son has never taken antibiotics and I don't have a problem with them if they are necessary, but I'd like to avoid them if possible. Does anyone have any natural remedies to try before the antibiotics? Or anyone experience with this?

Thanks so much!
