IT has been two years since my last cleaning, and two years before the one before last. The one before last was a pleasure. This one was a total torture. Very painful. I was almost in tears, and my tolerance to pain is pretty good.

Now, 3 hours later, I'm still in severe discomfort. Some gums throb, and all are very, very tender. i can't imagine eating.

is this normal?

the hygeniest said i had healthy gums and teeth, but i could be more sensitive because i was premenstrual.

the whole experience was so awful, i feel violated.
