How to make DD's body alkaline? - Mothering Forums

DD had her first dentist appointment yesterday.  She has had a lot of tooth problems ever since her teeth came in (cavities, crumbling, and cracked teeth).  We have treated everything ourselves up until this point.  We went to a holistic dentist and she recommended that we work on making DD's body more alkaline and that she think DD's teeth are deteriorating because her body is too acidic.  The thing is she didn't go into detail about how to make DD's body alkaline instead of acidic.

 

I assume removing or reducing acidic fruits and vegetables from her diet is a start but what else can be done?  The only thing the dentist suggested is starting with getting our water tested.


Married to my soul mate and totally devoted to DD (6/08) and enjoying our 2 cats and many fish. Wishing for a "green" house in the country where we can raise more children!

I think xylitol helps with that within the mouth.
