I am looking for a recommendation for a dentist in the Chicagoland area who can safely remove amalgam fillings.
I clench my teeth at night and I believe I have cracked or damaged a filling. I did the same thing a year ago and had it removed by my dentist. He refilled it with the same type of filling - said it was necessary because I am such an extreme gagger. Since he removed and refilled the tooth, I have had an on and off metal taste in my mouth. Now I am having pain in a tooth - not sure if it is the same tooth - and I think I may have cracked another filling. Recently I have been reading more about the importance of removing the fillings safely; so I would like to find a dentist who can remove it safely and refill with a less toxic material.
I worked for a holistic dentist prior to my son whom is a member of the IOAMT. Here is a link to find one in your area. The members are mercury free dentists.
Hope this helps!
