I have recurrent abscesses due to a broken tooth I cannot afford to fix. I take goldenseal as soon as I get signs of one and it knocks it out (add raw garlic if it's getting bad). I just read about Oregon grape - how well does that work in comparison for an abscess? I want to avoid goldenseal if I can since it's endangered but if it's the best option then I'll stick with it. I get abscesses starting up at least once or twice a month.

TIA!

Have you looked into low cost dental clinics to get the broken tooth fixed?  Here are a few that may be able to help.

I'm not sure if I saw that first one before so I'll call Monday, but I've exhausted about everything else I could find, including everything on that second link. lol I have gotten some fillings through Dentistry from the Heart but the issue with the broken tooth is if I simply pull it I risk all my teeth shifting, so it is more costly than an extraction, something I can afford...just gotta pick a lesser of evils, unfortunately. I will be the happiest girl ever the day I do get it fixed, though. lol
