I ordered Weleda toothpaste, thinking it was glycerin free, but here it has glycerin in it. I would appreciate hearing what some glycerin free toothpaste/soaps are out there. We are trying the nutritional approach for one of our children's cavaties. Thankyou!

Spry infant toothgel doesn't have glycerin. But the regular Spry toothpaste does.

ETA: You can always use Dr. Bronner's too. But only use a drop or you'll look like you're foaming at the mouth.

Have you gone to any hotels lately? Take a bar of soap from a hotel or any old plain bar soap (check the label for glycerine if there is a label to check). Wet the toothbrush, then swirl around on the soap for a couple seconds, brush thoroughly, floss. Done
You are welcome,
Dayne

I use "the Secret" from www.saveyourteeth.com. Basically it is 2/3 baking soda to 1/3 sea salt, but you don't "brush" with it. You "apply" it to the gumline. HTH!

Ran across this thread and thought I had my toothpaste to offer to the pile. Well, after having to do a little extra research to find out what's in it (ingredients are not on the tube), I just found out the toothpaste I use DOES have glycerin in it. And worse, it has carrageenan in it too!!!! Yuck. It's Desert Essence. I should have looked past the SLS, gluten and fluoride free packaging. So, after this tube is done (just opened it), I will get Earthpaste. I checked out their website and I am impressed.
