Today DD (16 mos) and I were playing outside after I got home from work. The dog was outside playing with us, and eventually he got around to one of his favorite outdoor activities, eating deer poop. : So DD is swinging in her little swing and I commented on the situation. "Oh, Indy is eating deer poop again." She responds "Doggie, poo poo." Me, excited to hear her narrating the situation, repeat myself again (okay, several times) "Yes, Indy is eating deer poop. Yucky. The doggie is eating poop." To which DD replies, "Doggie...eat...poo poo!" Her first sentence! Subject, verb, object. Boy, she will be so embarrassed if I tell this story when she is a teenager!
