DD always likes to sleep on her tummy. Do you think that harms her heart and lung?
I try to turn her but she always goes back that position.
Could you suggest what I should do?
Thanks.

I'm not sure how it could hurt her heart and lungs? Kids tummy sleep alot, heck a fair amount of adults do to. I think it is fine.

Even for those who follow the back-to-sleep recommendations, once they can roll on their own it's fine to let them sleep however they're comfortable.

I've slept on my tummy for 41 years.

All of mine have slept on their tummy since the day they were born.

We're all fine.

Has a doctor said that she shouldn't sleep that way because of a medical issue? I don't know how it could hurt her heart or lungs.

Agreed with all above- it's fine.

Who told you it could hurt her heart and lungs?

I am the OP.
I also heard that it's the same thing as you put your hand on your heart while sleeping and that is not good for your heart.
Perhaps those opinions are just from my culture .

But I'm glad that actually doesn't harm my kid.
Thanks guys!
