Hi:

I am looking for a black boy doll, and would prefer an anatomically correct one. DS has a furnis foll, but I only see white furnis dolls on Amazon. Are there any other brands out there that make anatomically correct dolls, or would you recommend any other brands of black dolls?

Thanks!

Mom to DS 12/07 and DD 11/13, plus a bunch of chickens, dogs, and cats.

Ugh, you'd think that would be easier to find! I found a great one on eBay but it was more than $80!

Here's one for a more reasonable price: http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0013TNYK0/ref=aw_d_detail?pd=1

Also this one says it's currently unavailable but maybe you can find one somewhere else online. We have one of the white dolls in this brand and it's great!

I also thought these were awesome but expensive, and it looks like you have to buy them by the family: http://www.amamantafamily.com/dollsorderpage.htm

I think Furnis is withdrawing from the market but I don't ever seeing one with darker skin when we bought ours. Can't find a picture of one either. You might search though there was an old thread....

These ones are GREAT!  They are the exact dolls they have at my daughter's nursery school, very life-like and sweet. :)
