My 18mo DD started barking like a seal last night, but it was very mild and didn't disturb her sleep too much. Today she has been her normal, cheery self but I just noticed that what I thought was a scratch several hours ago has become hives all up and down her right arm. Can anyone tell me what this means in relation to having croup?
"If your child suddenly develops stridor or a barking cough but hasn't shown any other signs of being sick, it's time to go to the doctor. If a barking kid starts scratching or complaining of itching -- or if redness or hives appear -- call 911 immediately."

At the very least, call your doctor asap.
I have Stiff Person Syndrome and my other car is a candy apple red Rascal. Feel free to ask me about it.
Thank you. We got in to see her naturopath within an hour and the hives disappeared before our eyes! We still don't know what caused it, but we were glad to see them go.
