I have a 3 year old and a 14 month old who share a room.  My 14 month old goes to bed around 6:30... he nurses and then goes to sleep on his own in his crib.  He likes to be able to see me, since we just started having him put himself to sleep in his bed.  So I sit back there till he falls asleep.  My 3 year old watches a cartoon and then comes to her bed and looks at books until I can read to her.

The problem is lately my 3 year old sin't going to sleep until 9:30 or later.  She wants someone with her rubbing her back and so forth.  (We don't do that with our son.)  It has gotten to the point where after our son is asleep and its time for our daughter to go to sleep (around 8) I move our son to our bedroom.  My daughter will scream and play around until 9:30 before finally falling asleep.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to get her to fall asleep sooner?  She hardly takes naps and if she does its an hour at the most.  She is very active and very cranky because she's not getting the sleep she needs.  This aslo started last week with the time change.  Before the time change she was falling asleep between 8 and 8:30, now its an hour later.  She has a bear she sleeps with and a lovey, her night light went out last night and we are buying a new one today.

Any ideas would be great.
