hi

I am looking (online) for a specific type of toy for my 2 yr old ds that I havent' been able to find- simply a toy truck with doors that open and people that can go in the truck to sit in it.

anyone know of a toy like this? I have some older fisher price types where the little people go in the truck but not one  with doors that open and a person with legs who can go inside the truck- which is what I am looking for.

Does your son play with Lego Duplo yet? The duplo bus is a great toddler option. The doors don't open but the luggage area does.

Well, not a truck but Fischer Price has Little People school bus with a door on the side and in the back.

The legs on the people do not move.

Our boy loves the Playmobil 123 cars/trucks/diggers. The people go in through the top though. I think for little hands it's too complicated to bend and then get them in through an opened door.

I'm not sure if they have a truck, but "Barbie" vehicles (they have several different cars and a camper too) have doors that open and barbie sized dolls can sit inside...

My son had a truck with two construction workers. The doors opened. I believe it was a German named toy - I tried to find it online and BRUDER comes up, but I am not sure this was the make. At any rate the toy was for older kids (older then two) as the construction workers came with a laptop, walkie talkies, hats...little pieces. The truck came with a detachable ladder and suspension...one was able to set the pickup truck at two different heights.  I didnt see his exact truck online, but there were several other options that seemed to have little people and functioning doors.  Ill check the toy tonight, to see if the name / make is on it - it was a really nice toy,..
