I have a question about potty learning regressions, my daughter will be 2 in a couple weeks and has been potty learned for about 2 months or so.  This week was a big week for us.  On Moday we started a one day a week mommy & me waldorf class.  Then on Tuesday and Thursday we started a speech therapy class (she has a slight delay).  The waldorf class is what you would think, mellow, soothing and just lovely.  The speech class is the exact opposite.  There are only 3 kids in the class, but the therapist is SUPER high energy and it gets loud and a little crazy.  Back to the potty learning.  She was dry most nights and was not having any misses during the day, but she's been wet the past couple nights and today she had two misses.  One time she was completely naked and sat down on the floor less than two feet away from the potty and then peed on the floor.  Do you all think this is an adjustment period type of thing?  How long can regressions last?  Any advice?

Melissa - 3 furbabies, 2 stepkids, 1 toddler born (9/27/10).  One loss on 7/13/09.

suspect all the changes are taking its toll.  it will pass and she will have fewer accidents.  expect these lapses during any "major" changes (from child's perspective) until possibly 4 or 5.  don't make a big deal about it - observe and comment to child.  it needs patience from you more than anything.
