Hello, cloth-diaperers!  Has anyone come up with a toddler-proof diaper pail/garbage?  Keeping them in my daughter's room is the only option for us.  Right now, we have them in a corner with a baby gate set up between the changing table and the wall so she can't get to them.   But with baby #2 coming soon, we need more space, so I'm looking for another option.  Suggestions?  Is there such a thing as a diaper pail that toddlers can't get into?  We keep the diaper pail and a small garbage can for wipes together, so I need a solution for that as well.  Expand my mind!

Thanks!!

e

I use this one from motherease.com: https://usshop.motherease.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=65&cat=Diaper+Pail, my 18mo has never messed with it or tried to figure out the latch, plus with the mesh bag it's a pretty tight fit anyways.  Diapers are in her room (which "should" be the master bedroom bc of the half bath but it was too small for our bedrooom furniture) and she's never tried to play with dirty ones. Clean ones are a different story, she likes to fold them and did put an insert in the toilet once - they are out of reach now.

Could they go into a diaper genie? I use a diaper genie for my disposables, and then I have this lock on the lid:

In fact, I have these straps on EVERYTHING. My DD's nickname is "Grabber." She gets into everything. E-V-E-R-Y-T-H-I-N-G. Her chant is "Grabber, No Grabbing!" (In the tune of Swiper, no swiping!"
