I came across these two things in the last week. What's wrong with these pictures?

Yikes, I try to avoid this stuff like the plague. Not gendering, but I once saw a onesie that said, "Mommy and Daddy's little tax break". That about made me gag. Also, DH once saw "Smart like Daddy" in blue and "Pretty like Mommy" in pink right next to each other... bleh

Ew....

This stuff is just all over the place. Someone must be buying it! Any one else see anything needing a good winger wagging lately?

I hate the political ones too! Like, really? The infant is a democrat/republican already?

It makes me so sad that these life-limiting stereotypes haven't gone the way of the dinosaurs (which, other than the propensity of some species for eating early mammals, would be more fun to have around today than sexism). I'm eager to hear what my daughter has to say when she's old enough to respond to people who call her "princess" (never mind that 90% of her clothes were found in the boys' section of our local thrift shop, so most people assume she's a little prince, or frog, or whatever labels folks assign to boys). My bets are on, "I'm not a princess, I'm a peaceful knight!"

I admit, I'm tempted to get the Yo Ho Ho one for my baby (girl!). DH is notorious for saving changes for me to do.

DS born 6/03, DD1 born 9/06, DD2 born 10/10, DD3 born 4/14.
