Last christmas I gave our nieces and nephews each a disposable camera and a little photo album. It was a great hit AND an idea from this site.

So I'm looking for another great (non-stuff) gift idea. These kids are toyed out, and I've already done magazine subscriptions (which didn't go over quite so well?).

Any ideas? The kids are 4-7 in age.

THANKS

What about art supplies? Paint brushes and watercolors, chalk, colored pencils, clay...

Is there a zoo or children's museum in your area? If so, maybe you could get them annual passes, or if those are too pricey, day passes. Offer to take them yourself as a gift to their parents, give them a day off while you take the kids for an outing.

They are probably of an age that cooking is fun for them. How about buying a kid's cook-a-long cookbook and a few cooking items? My own dd will be 3 in a few months and she already enjoys helping me with mixing and pouring and stirring and such.
