Hi y'all

I recently heard about the advantages of early potty training, when your baby is still an infant, to let him/her "go" in a potty or the bathroom sink to get them used to the idea of not ignoring their bodies functions. Apparently there are many cultures who don't even use daipers! This may sound unbelievable in our culture...
I was told this by a dear friend with a 2 month old who said she has been trying it, and is having great success (she does still use a daiper though!) but she said her ds actually 'waits' for her to position him before pooping! Its another great way of learning to read your babies signals and bond stronger!
My ds is 9 months old and I was going to get him a potty and give it a try.

Has anyone ever heard of this? and anyone had any success? There is apparently a book out there but I forget the author...

Would love some feedback on this...

Love alison...mama to baby Joshua... aka 'the Jo Boy'
