We were in the car yesterday, and 16 month old DS was in a happy mood. We've been reading "I Love You Just the Way You Are" often lately. Barthalomew the toddler bear says "nah" on almost every page, and my son LOVES it.
DS usually jabbers at the semi's, the horses in the pasture, and anything else interesting that he sees. But yesterday, I hear "jabber, jabber, nah. Jabber jabber NAH! Jabber NAAAAH!"
I know he was telling himself the Barthalomew story!
He usually goes for context, and doesn't use specific (understandable) words very often. Every now and then we can understand dog, kitty, meow, or fish.
Just thought I'd share - it cracked me up!
