Thanks for starting us off.
DS is just starting in with the tantrums and such. It's so funny to me how we handle his tantrums VS. how we handled everything with our older DS. When the little one starts thrashing about, we say, "Oh, I see you're upset", and then go on with our business. Amazing. I don't think I ever could have ignored the antics of my bigger son.
My babe is still an incredibly lovey-dovey babe. He's happy most of the time. Likes to kiss and hug a LOT. Will say most animal sounds (baaa, woof, meow, moooo). His words thus far are: momma, dada, hi, and NO. Just started the NO thing last night.
He's an incredible climber. This means many, many bruises. Loves to snack. Will try most foods. And I think he weighs about 28lbs. now.
He must be working on teeth, too, b/c he has been so incredibly clingy (for lack of a better word). Will not let me go, leave the room, etc. Of course, I have to put him down and needless to say, he's not happy. He must be going through something or about to make a big change, b/c the past two weeks have been a bit of a struggle with him in terms of trying to accomplish anything around the house. And believe me, I am not one of those gotta-have-a-perfect-house kinda moms. So, little is getting done.
Just this week he developed a rash, too. But it's a weird rash. It's not really red. Just skin-colored and very dry. No fever or anything, so I've just been watching him. We're thinking it's just very dry skin. But can that come on sort of out of nowhere? He just feels dry in patches, like his skin has become a bit thicker or something.
Anyway, that's all for me. Glad to know the babes are healthy. Hopefully we'll see some familiar faces over here soon.
