We are going out of town for a week, leaving this Thursday, for a friends wedding. DS is the ring bearer and now has the beginning of a cold (runny nose, congestion and a cough, no fever....yet).

What homeopathic remedies can you recommend for a 2 year old? He rarely gets sick and if he does I usually just let it run it's course but with being out of town and being in the wedding, I'd like to nip it in the bud- if that's possible. Thank for your help!

We've used Sambucol for Kids elderberry syrup. ds really liked it and it helped him get over a bad cold. I also keep hyland's cold vitamin c tablets on hand. My herbal book recommends warm apple juice with kudzu dissolved in it, which is soothing, nutritious and the warmth helps loosen the gunk.
