My one and a half year old son was running out in the backyard and fell- slamming his forehead into our marble-topped bench. He hit his forehead right on the corner of the bench. It instantly swelled to HUGE proportions and we took him to the Dr. right then. They said everything was fine; just a bad bump.

He's been acting fine and it doesn't seem to hurt him anymore. But it's been 2 weeks, and he still has a noticeable hard lump on his forehead. Is this normal? How long do these kind of bumps last? Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks-

DD did just about the same thing apart from it was a cement wall! It's been 2.5 weeks and still a noticeable lump, black bruise on her forehead even after copious amounts of arnica and cammomile! So I'm reckoning it's not going away for at least another 2 weeks!

ewe + dh = our little lambs + we and have many just : and : life .
