The Hanna Andersson ones are WONDERFUL and you can find them on eBay, gently used, much cheaper if cost is an issue. We have never been able to find footie PJs that were organic, so the Hannas were a good compromise -- we just socks/booties on too.

I can't tell you how much we love Hanna PJs. They seem expensive, but they'll last through several children, typically.

ETA: We have some Under the Nile organic ones to but they're very thin. The Hannas are nice and thick and soft.

So cute! Thanks for these recs. I wonder why it's so hard to find footies...These are great though!

DD is about 9 months older than your DS and she refuses to wear footies. In fact, I bought these great footies that DD refused to wear ever. Oh well, I got a good deal on them. Maybe my DD isn't the only one? -She is seemingly more opinionated than most.

What about footies that aren't organic, but just aren't treated with the flame retardant chemicals? We can't find any at all!

We like the Hanna PJs too

we found 100% cotton non-treated footie pajamas at The Children's Place store. I haven't seen those same pajamas on their website though. I think you could get 3 sets for $25. cute too, a little thin, but fine for our milder winters. HTH.

Most of the 100% cotton ones that are snug-fitting do not have the chemicals on them. Some (like LL Bean) do, though, so it's important to check first.

We like the Children's Place footies, but they're technically not 100% cotton -- they have some elastic around the ankles, which isn't a big deal for us, since they're chemical-free, but it might be an issue in terms of allergies or something, if you're really needing absolutely 100% cotton.

Amazon has the CP footies on sale sometimes.

And we've also found some longjohn style (no feet though) from Old Navy that weren't treated, and were on sale.
