We did not EC with DS but did just have a potty chair in the bathroom that he likes to sit on (with clothes on) or use the potty part as a hat.

Even as an infant he never was phased by a wet or dirty diaper. 3 days ago he started pulling on his diaper and saying "poo poo" after he had went.

Today he did the same thing so DH went to change him and there was no poo. Ds said NO, and pointed to the potty. DH sat him on the potty and he went! I was so thrilled i made a huge deal of it and DS was kinda like, "Yeah, so".

an hour later he did the same thing! i'm thrilled!!!

we have 4 months until we move to the USA and two months before our DD is born. I really want him potty trained before we go but will not push it.

So how soon after they get the hang of pooing on the pot do they recognize they can pee? Is this the beginning of something wonderful or is it just a fluke?

i'm very proud and excited anyways.
