your own pics, or links from the web.

We're getting 4 new appliances this week, and I'm desperately trying to convince DH that the cardboard boxes are the BEST plaything. My sister still remembers when we got a new hot water heater. She used the box for months. Apparently, Mom and Dad even let her sleep outside in it.

Other cardboard box creations also welcome!

(The play kitchen thread was my inspiration.)

DS, 10/07. Allergies: peanut, egg, wheat. We've added dairy back in. And taken it back out again. It causes sandpaper skin with itchy patches and thrashing during sleep. Due w/ #2 late April, 2012.

No pics, and not really a fort per se, but my favorite pastime for two summers as a kid was to roll down a huge hill in an appliance box, sometimes with friends inside. Eventually the box wore out, and we got too heavy for group box-rolling to be fun anymore.

I don't come here anymore. MDC has become overgrown with ads & useless extra forums.

Good inspiration here and thingamababy.com gives them good reviews for the actual rivets.
