My dd who is 2 yrs 8 mo calls it "ma". She was saying this since she could talk but thick headed me didn't figure it out until she was about a year. I always knew what she wanted but didn't connect the "ma" with nursing. Sometimes now that she can talk a lot better she says, "Mommie I want to nurse." 90% of the time it is "ma" though.
My dh thought it would be funny for her to learn, "Nice boobies." So I hear that frequently or, "Mommie, I like your boobies." Sweet, I guess.

Nip!
A long time ago DH and DS were in the bathtub together and DH was naming bodyparts. DS pointed to his chest and DH said 'nipples'. That was it...it stuck!
Now DS is 22 mths and asks for 'nip, please' or 'please, nip' and nods his head enthusiastically!!!

Mine calls it "Nome". I don't know why. Lately, he has been saying, "I want some boob," which is not nearly as charming.

Mom to two beautiful boys, now in school to be a therapist and help other women with PPD.
