What is safe yet effective?

Almost crunchy but sometimes soggy, homeschooling mommy of 2. biggrinbounce.gif

I work from home and love showing others how to do it too!

What are you cleansing for? parasites or just general? Black walnut & garlic are helpful for parasites and safe for bf.

I'm also interested in this.

You know how on TV there's a commercial for some colon cleanse product, and they say you're carrying around 10+ extra lbs due to excess waste in the colon? DH & I are both sucked in to that concept and we both want to try it... But we want something very safe, natural, and safe for me while BF'ing.

So OP, I'm no help to you... but I've been meaning to post the same question!

Co-sleeping is really wonderful when your child actually SLEEPS!! familybed1.gif

I did a colon cleanse once and I can't say I was at all impressed.

Not to be gross but IME things that result in a fast and thorough system purge so to speak just leave you with a lot of room in there... so you feel very thin and clean for a day or so, but then you don't go again for a while... at which point you just feel backed up and gassy and back to square one. Whereas a good dose of fiber every day keeps things moving in a safe and effective manner.

For your money... generic metamucil will give you a good and safe cleaning out and can be taken daily for regularity. It's good for cholesteral and blood sugar levels, too.

Your milage may very...
